"A Cowboy Christmas"
This painting was the number one selling Christmas card for Leanin' Tree the year it came out. It was also on the cover of Western Horseman that year. I invented the Cowboy Santa in the mid eighties, and he's been very good to me. Merry Christmas Everybody!

"Bringing Christmas Home"
Although it's a bitterly cold and windy night, this cowboy has ridden to town to buy presents for his entire family. He will be greated with plenty of excitement and joy when he arrives home. This painting will always have a soft spot in my heart as it was the first painting of mine licensed by Leanin' Tree for a Christmas card. Merry Christmas everybody!

"City Sidewalks, Busy Sidewalks"
It's just before Christmas and this Old West town is full of shoppers. The warm light from the shop windows is a welcome sight from the cold chill of the night air. I hope each shopper finds the perfect gift they're looking for. Merry Christmas Everybody!

"Christmas Spirits"
These cowboys are enjoying the annual Christmas party at their favorite saloon. Probably a good thing their horses know the way home. I'll tell you something interesting about this painting, folks are building an Old West movie set and event center near Tucson, Arizona. This is the first building they've completed, and they totally based it on my paining. I was able to walk through the swinging doors of a saloon from my imagination. Merry Christmas Everybody!

"The Gift Horse"
I always enjoy it when I'm able to include kids in my Christmas paintings. I think each of us can remember the magic of Christmas when we were children. In this painting, a grandson is showing his grandfather exactly what he hopes to get for Christmas. I'll bet he gets it. Merry Christmas everybody!

"The Toy Wagon"
Most of my Cowboy Santa paintings are action based, but this one is taking a slower approach. I'll bet he still delivers all his toys. It will just take longer. Merry Christmas everybody!

"The Warmth Of God's House"
In this painting, I wanted everything to look very cold except the church, but when I got the canvass all covered it just looked too cold. I painted the bushes in the foreground warm, and it all came together. Sometimes a painting will tell you what it needs. I always let it. Merry Christmas everybody!

"Upon The Highest Bough"
I was blessed to have this painting appear on the cover of Western Horseman magazine. In fact it's been on the cover of four magazines. It's a simple idea, but it must be a good one. I've seen several versions of it by other artists. I tried to capture the joy of a young cowboy filled with Christmas spirit. His horse and dog are there to help, too. Merry Christmas everybody!

"Christmas Eve"
The Cowboy Santa has stopped to make a delivery and have a cup of hot coffee before continuing to the next ranch house. I'll bet his horse will be ready to spend the night in the warm barn when this ride is done. Merry Christmas Y'all!

"Reindeer Roundup"
This Cowboy Santa is getting ready for Christmas. Hope all of y'all are getting ready as well. Merry Christmas everybody!
