"Those Darn Jingle Bells"
Here's what happens when your horses aren't used to jingle bells. This couple is having a little troube getting to their neighbor's Christmas party. If you've seen this Christmas card from Leanin' Tree, you may notice the lady in the background has been digitally removed. MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYBODY!

"Stopped For Christmas Cookies"
I love everything about Christmas, the presents, the fellowship, having family come home, the food, the Christmas music, and the atmosphere. But I especially love Christmas Cookies! In this painting, the bakery is doing a lot of business. Merry Christmas everybody!

"A New Saddle For Christmas"
Someone is going to receive a brand-new saddle for Christmas. Among his many other talents, our Cowboy Santa is a first-rate saddle maker. My model for this painting was Richard Oliver of Oliver's Saddle Shop in Amarillo. He's not built quite like Santa though, I added several pounds. Merry Christmas everybody!

"Sharin' Christmas With The Neighbors"
A couple of cowboys from neighboring ranches are exchanging Christmas wishes over the fence that separates their ranches. Clearly, the cowboy on the grey is filled with Christmas Spirit as he has brought candy and gifts. Merry Christmas everybody!

"The Family Tree"
One of my favorite jobs as a boy was going into our family's canyon in November and trying to find the perfect Christmas tree. Most years, I could find one that looked pretty good (at least from three sides). Then, two weeks before Christmas, I'd go cut that perfect tree and bring it up on my horse. The young cowboy in this painting is doing my job. Merry Christmas everybody!

"Special Delivery"
Here's a sight every young cowboy or cowgirl would love to see. The Cowboy Santa has arrived, and that bag is filled with every kind of toy. It's gonna be a joyous Christmas. Merry Christmas everybody!

"Christmas Wishes"
Before malls and Walmart, most towns had one general store that sold everything, like the sign says. In this painting, I wanted to show the hustle and bustle of Christmas shoppers. I made sure to include a church in the background because that's what Christmas is all about. Merry Christmas everybody!

"It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Grandma"
It's that time of year again, and this grandson has a helper to build a snowman, or in this case a snow woman. Won't grandma be pleased when she sees that they used her best apron and bonnet on this project?

"Going Home For Christmas"
This lone cowboy has been away from home for quite some time, but now he's headed back. He's looking forward to seeing friends and family and having a stack of mom's biscuits and a hot cup of coffee. I'll bet they'll be glad to see him.

"Ol' Jake Got A Kick Out Of Christmas"
More cowboy humor. I almost named this "The Gift Wrappers". The difficulty I had with this painting was how to show that it is Christmas from inside a barn. The only solution I could think of was to show the decorated home in the background.
