My original idea for this painting was to have a cowboy outside an art gallery watching a young lady looking through the window at the art. I was going to name it "Window Shoppers". Well, the girl I asked to model for me showed up in those flag shorts, and I thought hey, this will be way better. You never know how an idea for a painting will evolve.
