Paintings like this one have always sold well in Santa Fe. Over the years, I've painted numerous scenes of old adobe structures, and I can tell you one thing for sure. I enjoy painting adobe a lot more than I enjoy making adobe bricks. When we had Six Gun City, there were two adobe buildings which I had to make the bricks for. That is boring, back-breaking work. My hands would ache from mixing the hay into the mud. I was always thrilled when we finally had enough bricks for what we were building.
