"The Artist"

This painting was done for my second book with Harvest House Publishing, "Growing Up Cowboy". What I like most about this painting is the dog's reaction. As you know if you follow my work, I always use the animals to help tell the story. The dog can't figure out what the boy is looking at, and the horse has given up and started eating.
