"The Arroyo"

This painting combines two of my favorite things to paint, a bunch of moving horses and the stunning beauty of Monument Valley. Although I had to move the buttes around to create this composition, I've painted in Monument Valley so many times that it wasn't a problem. I move mountains and mesas a lot in my paintings, but I have a license.
