"Palo Duro Shadows"

Palo Duro Canyon is beautiful at any time of day, but when the sun is low in the west, the colored clay comes alive. When I paint down there at that time, I'm always amazed at how bright I have to keep the colors on my palette. I'm blessed to live here.
