12x16 oil...hot off the easel. This cowboy obviously had a long day yesterday. He made a cold camp and is not up with the sun. His horse knows this is unusual and he's ready to go. This painting will be available at the Small Works, Great Wonders show in November at the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum.
