"Loose Cinched, Thirst Quenched"

30x40 oil on linen. When I was breaking horses, I always made sure that they could swim. As you may know, many horses will blow up their stomaches when swimming. That's why I would often loosen my cinch a bit before entering the water. Apparently, this cowboy loosened his a bit much, hence the title.
