Quiet Start to a Long Day

“Quiet Start to a Long Day” – Jack Sorenson

I like story-lines that take place before the action starts.  By doing the painting in this way, the viewer is part of the story because he knows what is about to happen before the focal point character does.

This cowboy has no idea that a group of Comanches are approaching in the distance, or he wouldn’t have left that Henry by the dugout door.  No doubt, Its going to be a long day!
