This young cowboy is offering his horse a bite of his peanut butter and jelly sandwich. The dog is wondering if he'll get a bite. It's amazing what horses will eat. I used to have a horse that loved oranges. He would put the whole thing in his mouth and when he bit down juice would squirt out of both sides. This painting was done for my second book with Harvest House Publishers, "Growing Up Cowboy".
