40x30 oil on linen. This trio of cowboys is riding hard and fast with slickers flying, trying to get back home. During a lightning storm, a fellow on horseback is the tallest thing on the prairie. More than once, I was caught in such a storm and headed in as fast as I could. This painting will be available at The Cowboy Artists of America Show in Fort Worth November 5th.
